Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlton Draught (ranked 1123 p4p, 1174 weight class) and Roman Dinu (ranked 133 p4p, 143 weight class). Draught comes to the cage accompanied by New Authentic - Nightfall. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carlton Draught! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Dinu! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dinu lands a nice looking body shot.
Dinu darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
 It looks like Carlton Draught has been cut. Draught slips under a jab from Dinu. It looked like Draught wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Dinu digs a good hook to Draught's body.
Dinu fails to land with a series of punches.
It looked like Draught was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Dinu. Dinu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Draught moves away. Draught appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Dinu throws a body punch but Draught moves out of range. Dinu fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Dinu throws a wild combination but nothing lands. It looked like Draught wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Dinu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Draught, pushing him back against the cage. Dinu lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Draught backwards. Draught has Dinu pressed against the cage, preventing Dinu from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Dinu swings wildly with an uppercut but Draught uses good head movement to avoid it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Draught is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dinu is defending well. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dinu. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Dinu just misses with a elbow thrown towards Draught's brow. Dinu misses with an elbow strike.

Dinu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dinu misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Draught counters with a left to the body. Dinu finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Draught looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Nice uppercut there from Dinu. Dinu throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Draught swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Dinu misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Draught counter with a right hand. Draught displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dinu throws out the jab. Dinu is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Draught rather than just go for the knockout. Dinu throws a predictable looking body shot
and Draught counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dinu thinking.
Dinu clinches up with Draught and pushes him back against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dinu. Dinu misses with a body punch.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Draught. Draught is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dinu is defending well.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Draught throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Draught lands with a left to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dinu tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Draught's elbow. Draught drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dinu gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlton Draught. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dinu gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Draught.
Draught turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Draught manages to end up in side control. Draught trying to control the action but Dinu is working from the bottom. Draught prevents Dinu from escaping the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Draught tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Draught misses with the ground and pound. Dinu prevents Draught from improving position. Draught wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dinu keeps working. Draught throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Dinu is trying to get back to his feet.
Draught working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Draught goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dinu rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Draught's guard! Nice work there by Dinu! Draught wants to sweep but no luck. Dinu trying to control but Draught is working from the bottom. Draught wants to sweep here but Dinu controlling him for the moment. Dinu wants to stand but Draught is controlling his posture from full guard.
Dinu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Draught has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dinu has managed to get both his arms back between Draught's legs - danger averted. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Roman Dinu dominated that round. The cut man is working on Carlton Draught's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Dinu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Draught is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dinu pulls him back up using the underhooks. Draught tries to score a body lock takedown but Dinu shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Draught throws a head punch that misses. Dinu has had enough of the clinch but Draught keeps him there for the moment. Dinu has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Draught seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Dinu can turn it around. Dinu misses with a punch to the body.
Dinu lands a nice uppercut. Dinu is trying to break the clinch but Draught has him pressed against the cage. A short left from Draught. Draught works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dinu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Draught wants to sweep here but Dinu controlling him for the moment. Dinu has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Dinu moves into range and clinches up with Draught. Dinu lands an uppercut. Dinu can't find room to land a body shot as Draught controls the action.

Draught pushes off an throws an elbow but Dinu leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Draught blocking some punches.

Dinu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Draught slips under a jab from Dinu. Draught looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dinu misses with a wild body shot.

and Draught counters with a nice leg kick. Dinu throws a right and a left that Draught avoids nicely. Draught swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Dinu lands with a hook. Draught tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
 Carlton Draught's cut is getting worse. Dinu lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Roman Dinu seems to be getting the better of the standup. This has been an exciting period of action! Dinu lands a body shot.

Draught fires out a quick counter leg kick but Dinu just manages to avoid it. Dinu misses with a wild body shot. Draught on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dinu. Dinu obviously looking to wear him down.

and Draught counters with a lovely straight right hand!

I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Dinu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Draught walks into a jab.
 Carlton Draught's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Draught takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dinu wants to land a leg kick but Draught is out of range. Draught appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dinu jabs at Draught's body.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dinu throws a right and a left that both miss. Draught is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Dinu throws a nice outside leg kick. Roman Dinu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dinu takes the fight into the clinch.
Dinu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dinu lands with a right hand. Dinu just misses with a punch to the body.
Dinu jabs Draught to the body, keeping him at a distance. Carlton Draught has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dinu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Draught stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Dinu misses with a straight left. An attempted straight right counter from Draught misses the target. Draught gets cracked there but stands up to it.
