Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monni Mantzurin (ranked 1927 p4p, 2951 weight class) and Alexey Turmarrov (ranked 210 p4p, 303 weight class). Monni Mantzurin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Monni Mantzurin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexey Turmarrov! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mantzurin shoots in looking for a takedown. Turmarrov tries to sprawl out of it but Mantzurin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Turmarrov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mantzurin closes the distance and clinches. Mantzurin just leaning against Turmarrov, taking a breather. Mantzurin scores with a knee to the head.
Turmarrov jumps guard.
Turmarrov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mantzurin won't allow Turmarrov to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mantzurin landing some decent shots from guard. Turmarrov is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mantzurin dives into side control.
Mantzurin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mantzurin working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Mantzurin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Mantzurin in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Turmarrov looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Mantzurin turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Monni Mantzurin! After winning the bout, Monni Mantzurin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
