Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dave Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Deliz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage wants to clinch.
Savage tries to keep at a distance but Deliz has taken the fight into the clinch.
Deliz blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Savage tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Deliz fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Savage tries to work over Deliz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Savage misses with a hook from the clinch.
Deliz pulls guard.
Deliz wants to sweep but no luck.
Deliz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Savage stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Savage clinches but Deliz breaks the clinch
and Deliz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Deliz misses with a hook to the ribs.

Savage swings wildly with an uppercut but Deliz uses good head movement to avoid it.

Savage works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Savage stands and steps away. Deliz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Savage motions for Deliz to come forward. Savage throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Savage is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Deliz is aware though and is defending well.
Savage wants to get back to his feet but Deliz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Deliz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Savage keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Savage tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Deliz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Deliz wants to pass the guard but Savage is keeping the position.
Savage is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Savage had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Deliz defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Savage is looking to sinch up a triangle. Deliz throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Savage's body to avoid the submission. Savage has instead reached around Deliz's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Savage arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
