Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trent Chapel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Old Greg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chapel comes to the cage accompanied by Madsen - Nitro. Greg has chosen Love Games as his entrance music. Trent Chapel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greg looks to score with a jab to the body but Chapel is just out of range.

Greg decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Chapel is looking to improve his position.
Greg trying to control the action but Chapel is working from the bottom.
Chapel tries to roll over but Greg keeps him under control.
Chapel is not content to let Greg control the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Horrible takedown by Greg or perhaps it was just good defense by Chapel which made him look bad.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Greg swats away the attempt to clinch by Chapel.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Greg shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chapel manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Chapel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Greg is one step ahead there.
Chapel lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Greg!

Chapel is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Greg sees it coming and defends easily.

Chapel is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chapel is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Greg regains full guard. Nicely done.

Chapel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Chapel is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Greg is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Greg lands a nice forearm strike.

Old Greg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Chapel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Chapel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Greg.

Greg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chapel pinned against the cage. Chapel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Greg is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chapel rather than just go for the knockout.

Chapel content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Chapel throws a punch but it's blocked by Greg.
Chapel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Greg's elbow.

Chapel is trying to trip Greg. He has hold of a leg but Greg is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Chapel persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Chapel drops back looking for a leg! Greg is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Greg manages to kick Chapel off! Chapel jumps back into Greg's guard.
Chapel won't allow Greg to sweep him here.

Greg is looking for a triangle but Chapel pushes his legs off easily.
Greg keeping moving, preventing Chapel from controlling successfully.
Chapel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Greg swivels though and keeps the full guard.
