Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacks Sole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monty Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jacks Sole has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jacks Sole seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacks Sole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Monty Brown!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sole throws a series of strikes that have Brown backpedaling.

It looks like Monty Brown has been cut.
Sole connects with a single shot there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brown shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sole defends it nicely.
Nice combo by Sole! Oh, that's hurt him - Brown falls to the canvas and Sole follows him into side control.
Sole working the ground and pound but Brown is defending the strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sole wants to stand but Brown is controlling his arm.
Brown misses with a strike from the bottom.
Brown tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sole wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Sole working the ground and pound from side control.
Sole in side control lands a decent elbow.
Sole working away.
Brown tries to bench press Sole off him but Sole keeps the position.
Brown prevents Sole from moving into mount.
Sole lands a nice forearm strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Sole decides to stand back up. Sole steps back and let's Brown get back to his feet.
Sole stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That has opened up Monty Brown's cut even more.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Sole tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sole manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jacks Sole is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sole throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease.
Sole dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Brown looks gassed!
Sole digs a good hook to Brown's body.

Sole connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Brown some visible discomfort.
Brown on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Sole works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Sole controlling from side mount.
Sole lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Brown down.

Sole decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Brown slips a jab and a cross from Sole.
Brown takes one on the button.
Sole misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sole misses with a few strikes there.
Sole with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Brown takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sole digs a good hook to Brown's body.
Brown slips a jab and a cross from Sole.
Sole scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

The cut above Monty Brown's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sole throws a leg kick but Brown moved away.
Sole swinging wilding here.
A punch lands to the side of Brown 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sole lands a two punch combo.
Brown takes one on the button.
Sole lands a nice shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sole will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brown takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sole throws a nice looking combination but Brown bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sole throws a leg kick that misses.
Brown fails to land the takedown.
Jacks Sole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Monty Brown.
Sole lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Sole misses with a double jab.
Brown avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sole scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nice body punch from Sole.
Some bone on bone action there as Brown checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Sole throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sole swats away the attempt to clinch by Brown.
Sole wants to land a leg kick but Brown is out of range.
Brown has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Sole fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sole scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Brown moves forwards but Sole connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sole is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brown can do to turn this around?
Sole lands a jab to the nose.
Brown chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sole can pounce on him.
Sole lands a nice hook to Brown's body. Brown takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sole lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brown circles away quickly and effectively.
Jacks Sole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sole connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Brown is breathing heavily.
Sole misses with a jab, cross combination.

Sole will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brown fails with the takedown.
Brown avoids a kick to the body.
Sole throws a leg kick but Brown moved away.
Brown moves out of range as Sole strikes.
Brown shoots in for a double leg but Sole sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sole throws a one two combo.

Monty Brown's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Sole closes the distance and lands a one-two.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Monty Brown's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
