The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brocas clobbers Ricci with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ricci looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

It looks like Brock Brocas has been cut.
Ricci showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brocas.

Brocas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ricci moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brocas throws a nice looking combination but Ricci bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ricci drops Brocas with a right and a left! Ricci comes rushing in but Brocas regains his composure and manages to keep Ricci in guard.

Brocas is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ricci drops back looking for a leg! Brocas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brocas manages to kick Ricci off! Ricci jumps back into Brocas's guard.
Oh Brocas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ricci stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brocas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brocas seems to have got his legs back now.

Ricci wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brocas keeps working.
Brocas tries to escape but Ricci is in control.

Ricci is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Brocas looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ricci gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Brocas is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ricci lets go of the hold and Brocas can pop his arm back in it's socket.
