Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Loblaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zac Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jefferson has chosen Welcome To The Jungle as his entrance music. Zac Jefferson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Loblaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zac Jefferson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loblaw misses with a wild body shot. Loblaw throws a head kick that misses. Jefferson on the wrong end of a nice hook. Loblaw darts in and clinches Jefferson up against the cage. Loblaw creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jefferson's defenses.
It looks like Zac Jefferson has been cut. Loblaw escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Loblaw throws a body kick that misses. Jefferson tries to clinch but Loblaw is having none of it. Loblaw blocks the body kick.
Loblaw throws a right and a left that Jefferson avoids nicely. Some wild striking there from Loblaw.
Loblaw tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jefferson was well out of range. Poor timing from Loblaw. Loblaw throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jefferson. Loblaw misses with a jab, cross combination.

Jefferson looks to land a left hand but Loblaw moved out of range nicely. Jefferson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Loblaw napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Oh, that's unlucky for Jefferson but great work by Loblaw. Loblaw trying to control the position but Jefferson is working away. Loblaw just content to control the position. Jefferson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Loblaw tries to pass to full mount but Jefferson defends it. Jefferson tries to get to full guard but Loblaw has control of the leg. Loblaw makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Loblaw trying to control the position from guard on top but Jefferson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Loblaw looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Loblaw throwing strikes from guard but Jefferson blocks nicely. Jefferson can't keep his opponent in guard - Loblaw advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Jefferson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jefferson has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Loblaw escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Loblaw! Loblaw scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jefferson to see if he's OK. Loblaw slows the pace down. Loblaw lands some shots froms side control. Jefferson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Loblaw working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jefferson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Loblaw scoring with strikes to the body and head. Loblaw wants to control but Jefferson is keeping him busy. Loblaw is looking for a kimura here.
Jefferson is trying to get back to full guard. Jefferson regains full guard. Nicely done. Loblaw thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jefferson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Loblaw gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Loblaw tries to bum rush Jefferson with a series of wild strikes but Jefferson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jefferson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Loblaw feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jefferson's calf. Loblaw misses with a few strikes there.

Jefferson is breathing heavily. Loblaw defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jefferson. Loblaw scores with a jab to the jaw. Loblaw shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jefferson wants to get back to his feet.
Jefferson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Loblaw looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jefferson trying to get back to full guard but Loblaw takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Loblaw is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jefferson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Loblaw looking for a guillotine from mount but Jefferson is having none of it. Loblaw cracks Jefferson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

A nice elbow there by Loblaw. Jefferson tries to hold on but Loblaw pushes him away. Jefferson is bucking up trying to escape but Loblaw cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Jefferson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Loblaw biding his time, controlling Jefferson. I really don't envy Jefferson right now.

Jefferson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Loblaw takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Loblaw looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Loblaw working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jefferson has a hand on Loblaw's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Loblaw takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Loblaw is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Loblaw avoids the attempt from Jefferson to control. Loblaw prevents Jefferson from getting the reversal. Loblaw wants to control the pace but Jefferson is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loblaw looking to finish Jefferson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jefferson! Loblaw lands a big elbow. Jefferson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jefferson taking shots to the head. Loblaw stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Loblaw lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Loblaw scores with a hook to the body. Jefferson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Loblaw works over Jefferson's head and body with a nice combination. Loblaw has managed to clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Loblaw obliges. Knees in the clinch landing for Loblaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice elbow from Loblaw. Loblaw is leaning against Jefferson and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Loblaw utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Zac Jefferson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Loblaw breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A head kick misses from Loblaw. Bob Loblaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jefferson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Loblaw paws at him with a jab and circles away. Loblaw fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jefferson, pushing him back against the cage. Loblaw will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jefferson up against the cage. Loblaw landing knees to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Loblaw escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Loblaw counters with a leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Loblaw showed his dominance in that final round. Well Loblaw has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
