The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peanut shoots in looking for a takedown. Danielson tries to sprawl out of it but Peanut keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Danielson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice jab there from Danielson.
It looks like Melvin Peanut has been cut.
The fighters circling - Danielson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Peanut closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Peanut takes a shot to the head.
Danielson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Danielson lands with an uppercut that bounces Peanut off the cage and back into rage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Danielson punishes Peanut's body with a nice straight punch.
Peanut looks gassed!
