The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laurier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cash.

Cash fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Laurier looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cash takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Cash rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Laurier moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Laurier cracks Cash with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Cash with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Laurier to score with a decent uppercut.
Laurier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Oh but Laurier is tightening it up a little... Cash has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cash reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cash taps out! nice BJJ there by Laurier!
