Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shaniqua Gorbdinkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Murdock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gorbdinkle comes to the cage accompanied by The Way I Feel. Matt Murdock will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorbdinkle slips a jab from Murdock.
Murdock paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Gorbdinkle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gorbdinkle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Murdock wants to stand up but Gorbdinkle is controlling him.
Murdock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gorbdinkle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gorbdinkle shoots in looking for a takedown. Murdock tries to sprawl out of it but Gorbdinkle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Murdock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
