The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Maney. That's going to slow slater down.
Maney slaps away a takedown attempt from slater, before circling back to the center of the mat.
slater changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maney tries to avoid it but slater manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maney to the ground. Maney escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

slater tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maney sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten slater somewhat.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for slater. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Maney shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! slater is backing up but Maney catches him with a final right hook that drops him! slater covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Maney Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
