Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partridge slaps away a takedown attempt from mikn, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Partridge shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Partridge connects with a nice short shot to mikn's temple.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Partridge got a little sloppy there for a moment and mikn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Partridge has managed to get both his arms back between mikn's legs - danger averted.

mikn is staying active underneath Partridge, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Partridge feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
