Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Lewis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis misses with a wild combination.
Nice shot lands for Reynolds. Reynolds blocks a head kick by Lewis.
Lewis swings for the body but Reynolds moves out of range.
Lewis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Reynolds. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lewis. Lewis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Reynolds gets the takedown into side control. Reynolds controls the position from side control. Lewis manages to get back to half guard. Reynolds not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Reynolds throwing shots but Lewis is blocking nicely. Lewis is staying active underneath Reynolds, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ground and pound from Reynolds.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Reynolds not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Reynolds missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Lewis is refusing to be controlled, as Reynolds sits in half guard. Reynolds looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lewis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Reynolds throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Reynolds looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lewis tries to get to full guard but Reynolds has control of the leg. Reynolds is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Reynolds is trying to control. Lewis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Reynolds is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Lewis is looking to control Reynolds's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lewis avoid being mounted? The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Still in half guard, Reynolds seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reynolds's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Reynolds misses with a body shot.

He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Reynolds throws and elbow that misses. Lewis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Reynolds's guard. Nice move by Lewis! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reynolds throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Reynolds dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Reynolds decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Reynolds trying to control the pace. Lewis is trying to maintain the position but Reynolds is very close to passing his half guard. Reynolds trying to control from Lewis's half guard. Lewis has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Lewis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Reynolds scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Reynolds throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lewis works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Reynolds is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Reynolds working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Reynolds postures up in Lewis's guard and throws a big left but Lewis blocks it.

Steve Reynolds showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Lewis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Reynolds shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lewis's guard. Reynolds slips nicely into half guard. Reynolds trying to control from half guard but Lewis is working away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Reynolds looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reynolds passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lewis! Lewis's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Reynolds landing shots from mount. Reynolds lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Reynolds is in the full mount, landing strikes. Reynolds putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lewis is looking to improve his position but Reynolds isn't that keen on the idea. Reynolds lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Reynolds with good strikes from the mount here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reynolds controlling the pace for now. Reynolds is working for a guillotine from mount but Lewis frees his head quite easily.
Lewis is in a horrible position here. Reynolds smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Reynolds looking to control but Lewis is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Steve Reynolds is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Reynolds lands a heavy elbow. Reynolds raining down shots from the mount! Lewis is bucking up trying to escape but Reynolds cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Reynolds is landing with some decent strikes but Lewis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Reynolds looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lewis in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Reynolds comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Reynolds has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
