Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ukulele Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Okuma Yoshiari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fredriksson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bob Marley "is This Love". Okuma Yoshiari is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshiari bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Yoshiari fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Yoshiari fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Fredriksson is out of range.
Fredriksson blocks a low kick nicely.
Yoshiari is looking to clinch but Fredriksson is avoiding it.
Fredriksson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fredriksson throws a low kick, looking for Yoshiari's leg but Yoshiari calmly moves out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Yoshiari.
Yoshiari misses with a hook. Fredriksson ducked under it nicely.
Fredriksson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Yoshiari throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Yoshiari shoots in for a takedown but Fredriksson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ukulele Fredriksson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Okuma Yoshiari.
Fredriksson throws a hook but Yoshiari avoids it easily.
Yoshiari throws a right and a left that Fredriksson avoids nicely.
Fredriksson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Yoshiari or perhaps it was just good defense by Fredriksson which made him look bad.

Fredriksson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Yoshiari shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yoshiari showed some decent athleticism there.

Fredriksson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yoshiari is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yoshiari not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yoshiari throwing shots but Fredriksson is blocking nicely.
Fredriksson wants to get back to his feet.
Yoshiari prevents Fredriksson from improving his position.
Yoshiari uses his free foot to push down on Fredriksson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fredriksson.
Fredriksson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yoshiari on the ground.
Yoshiari misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Yoshiari has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Yoshiari cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Yoshiari cracks Fredriksson with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
