A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gr.
A slapping leg kick lands for Almeida.
Almeida finds Gr's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Gr flops back against the ropes, eyes gazing into the distance. Almeida lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Gr will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ricardo Almeida!
