Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Sakazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deigo sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). sanchez has chosen the nameless as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ryo Sakazaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryo Sakazaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deigo sanchez! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! sanchez swinging wilding here.
Sakazaki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. sanchez misses with a few strikes there.

Sakazaki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. sanchez throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sakazaki bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. sanchez is positioning himself to get back to half guard. sanchez manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sakazaki won't allow sanchez to pass to mount. Sakazaki moves into full guard.
sanchez wants to control from the top but Sakazaki keeps moving. sanchez looks gassed! Sakazaki tries to land a sweep but no joy. sanchez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sakazaki wants to sweep here but sanchez controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sakazaki is working hard here to advance position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sakazaki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts sanchez as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryo Sakazaki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. sanchez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sakazaki circles away quickly and effectively. sanchez throws a series of punches but Sakazaki avoids them all with ease. Sakazaki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Sakazaki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sakazaki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. sanchez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sakazaki defends well. Sakazaki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sakazaki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sakazaki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. sanchez is keeping the position for now. Sakazaki slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. sanchez is trying to get back to half guard. Sakazaki is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. sanchez is trying to escape and Sakazaki transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and sanchez is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sakazaki! Very nice indeed!
