Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Skyler Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Tankard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Tankard! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tankard comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Tankard digs a good hook to Cooper's body.
Cooper is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tankard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tankard is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tankard wants to control from the top but Cooper keeps moving. Tankard sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cooper's guard. Tankard looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Cooper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cooper tries to get out of the position. Tankard missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Tankard thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cooper's head. Tankard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tankard passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cooper! Tankard trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tankard is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Tankard!
