Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maike Mitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitch has chosen C'mon ! as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Maike Mitch! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mitch sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gracie performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Gracie decides to stand and escape the position. Mitch showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gracie.
Gracie tries to clinch up. Gracie misses with a wild combination.
Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mitch swats him away and circles back towards the center. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mitch. Mitch looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitch gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mitch won't be happy with that. Mitch tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Gracie stands up and we're back to a striking position. Gracie is breathing heavily. Gracie avoids a kick to the body.
Mitch slips a jab and a cross from Gracie.
Mitch looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well. Mitch misses with a series of wild punches.
Mitch misses with a takedown and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mitch blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gracie. Gracie decides to stand and escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie looks to land a combination but Mitch avoids it well. Mitch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mitch moves out of range as Gracie strikes. Mitch throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie wants to clinch. Mitch throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie looks to land a combination but Mitch avoids it well. Mitch fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dick Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maike Mitch. Gracie avoids the head kick by Mitch.
Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gracie moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mitch bucks up and tries to throw Gracie off but instead Gracie has got his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie doesn't have the hooks in and Mitch manages to turn into his guard.
Mitch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gracie looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Mitch postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dick Gracie dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gracie fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mitch tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mitch to the ground. Mitch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mitch scores with a head kick.
It looks like Dick Gracie has been cut. Mitch scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Mitch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mitch misses with a combination
and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gracie gets to his feet. Mitch looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! A punch lands to the side of Mitch 's head but he takes it in his stride. Gracie wants to clinch. Mitch misses with a body kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitch bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A jab from Gracie finds it's way through Mitch's defenses. Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gracie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mitch gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gracie to score an easy takedown into full guard. Gracie gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Maike Mitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mitch moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gracie avoids the head kick by Mitch.
Mitch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Dick Gracie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gracie sitting in guard here, content to control. Gracie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Mitch trying to strike off his back.
Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work. Mitch throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie stands up and beckons Mitch to his feet. Mitch takes one to the side of the head.

Gracie gets a clinch. Gracie tries to break the clinch but Mitch is controlling the position. Gracie wants to get back to striking at distance but Mitch won't allow it.
A frustrated look appears on Gracie's face as he tries to break the clinch. Mitch wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Mitch gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gracie.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mitch breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Gracie stands up and beckons Mitch to join him on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie avoids the strikes from the bottom by Mitch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dick Gracie dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Dick Gracie's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Gracie scores with a sloppy right hand. Mitch should have avoided that one. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gracie scores with a takedown into Mitch's guard. Gracie content to stall in guard here. Mitch tries to strike from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie gets to his feet - Mitch follows without any prompting. Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mitch's guard. Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mitch's guard. Mitch is looking to improve his position.
Gracie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mitch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gracie missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Gracie is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mitch can do to turn this around? Gracie throwing shots but Mitch is blocking nicely. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mitch makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mitch. Gracie postures up in Mitch's guard and throws a big left but Mitch blocks it. Gracie postures up in Mitch's guard and throws a big left but Mitch blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitch looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mitch working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gracie. Gracie's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gracie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mitch for as long as he can get away with. Mitch preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mitch trying to strike off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there. Gracie thows a huge punch but Mitch dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well, if Gracie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Gracie with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Gracie is pressing down on Mitch's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mitch is holding on for now. Maike Mitch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dick Gracie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gracie moves into full mount! Mitch won't be happy about that!
And that's the end of the fight! Dick Gracie showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gracie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
