PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JC Maillet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cephas Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maillet comes to the cage accompanied by Blood on Our Hands. Maillet is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Maillet changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cote tries to avoid it but Maillet manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cote to the ground. Cote escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cote lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Maillet is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cote sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to JC Maillet.
