The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruus scores with a takedown into Borga's guard.
Ruus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ruus trying to control but Borga is working from the bottom.

Borga wants to stand up but Ruus is controlling him.
Ruus drops back looking for a leg! Borga is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Borga manages to kick Ruus off! Ruus jumps back into Borga's guard.

Borga bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ruus's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Borga tries to stand but Ruus is controlling from the bottom.
Borga is breathing heavily.
Borga throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ruus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ruus is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Borga has his hands clasped together but Ruus extends an breaks Borga's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ruus.
