Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Landes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vincent Chase is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincent Chase!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase fails with a takedown attempt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Landes.
Landes throws a series of punches but Chase moves out of range.
Landes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chase fails to land the takedown.
Chase tries to clinch up but Landes circles away and keeps his distance.
Landes looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Landes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chase tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Landes paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Chase fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Landes avoids it really well and circles away.
Jonny Landes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincent Chase.

Jonny Landes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Landes throws a leg kick but Chase sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Landes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chase moves into range and clinches up with Landes.
Chase crunches a lovely knee into Landes's ribcage.
Landes wants to get back to striking at distance but Chase won't allow it.
Chase breaks from the clinch.

Landes slips under a jab from Chase.
Chase tries to clinch there but Landes circles away.
Chase shoots in for a double leg but Landes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Chase pushes Landes up against the cage in a clinch.
Chase has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Landes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Chase has Landes pressed against the cage, preventing Landes from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Landes tries to break free but Chase pushes him back against the cage.
Chase is trying to drag Landes to the mat but Landes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Landes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Chase is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Landes wants to break free but Chase has control.
Landes wants to get back to striking at distance but Chase won't allow it.
Landes misses with a body punch.

Chase lands a knee to the body.
Chase has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Landes uses from the top position.
Landes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chase on the ground.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Landes controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Chase bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Landes's guard.
Landes pulls Chase in close to prevent any damage.
Landes has a closed guard, preventing Chase from standing up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chase accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Landes looking for a sweep. Not yet Landes, not yet.
Landes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Chase won't allow Landes to sweep him here.
Chase trying to move into half guard but instead Landes has managed to sweep!
Chase has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Landes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Landes content to stall in guard here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chase wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincent Chase dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Landes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chase fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Jonny Landes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Landes throws a lazy head kick
and Chase counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chase.
Chase jumps into guard, dragging Landes to the mat.
Chase tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Chase keeping moving, preventing Landes from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chase had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Landes is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Chase Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Landes's back instead.
Chase misses with an elbow to the head.
Chase is breathing heavily.
Chase struggling to land strikes to the head as Landes covers up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
I really don't envy Landes right now.
Chase has his arm under Landes's chin here. Game over son! Chase squeezes tightly and Landes is forced to tap out!
