Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Ronaldo Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jay mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mack has chosen turn me loose as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. jay mack will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mack shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nogueira sprawls well. Nogueira wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. mack gets slowly back to his feet.
mack shoots in looking for a takedown. Nogueira tries to sprawl out of it but mack keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nogueira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
mack fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nogueira avoids it really well and circles away.
Antonio Ronaldo Nogueira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jay mack.
Nogueira displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from mack.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

mack closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nogueira to the mat! Nogueira manages to get full guard.

Nogueira is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. mack is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

mack content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Nogueira has locked up a guillotine! Nogueira's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? mack is holding on here and Nogueira must be using up a lot of energy. mack has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Nogueira gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
