Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jun Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Matador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jun Kimura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fred Matador! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimura lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Kimura lands the left hand. Kimura scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kimura is looking to take a break and control but Matador is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kimura is figuring out what he wants to do next. Matador really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kimura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kimura is trying to work for a kimura but Matador is defending well.
Kimura trying to pass the guard but Matador defending well. Kimura trying to advance position but Matador counters by regaining guard. Kimura stands and throws Matador's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura tries to advance to mount but can't. Kimura tries to advance position but instead Matador slips a leg back in to half guard. Kimura thows a huge punch but Matador dodges it nicely.
Kimura throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Matador gets full guard. Kimura trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kimura slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Matador seems keen to control Kimura's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Matador keeping full guard, as Kimura tries to pass. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Matador doesn't manage to clinch there - Kimura circles away.
Kimura closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Matador did well to prevent Kimura getting side control. Kimura looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kimura wants to take a breather but Matador is having none of it. Kimura is looking to stall here but Matador recovers full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kimura accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Matador not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Matador tries to clinch up but Kimura circles away and keeps his distance. Matador tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Matador tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kimura swats him away and circles back towards the center. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kimura is defended easily by Matador. Kimura shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Matador pinned against the cage. Matador gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jun Kimura dominated that round. That's time! Kimura's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kimura keeps the fight on the outside. Matador tries to clinch there but Kimura circles away.
Kimura shoots in but Matador avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kimura throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Matador was covering up waiting for the punch and Kimura finishes the takedown easily into guard. Matador looking for a sweep. Not yet Matador, not yet. Matador trying to control the position.
Kimura is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura wants to control from the top but Matador keeps moving. Kimura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Matador swivels though and keeps the full guard. Matador can't keep his opponent in guard - Kimura advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kimura wants to lay and pray for a moment but Matador keeps working. Kimura works his foot free and advances to mount. Kimura is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Kimura!
