Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Benth looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Benth punching from the bottom.
Silva wants to pass to mount but Benth is defending the position.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Benth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Benth wants to get back to full guard.
Benth blocking the ground and pound attempt from Silva.
Silva is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Benth is refusing to be controlled, as Silva sits in half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silva tries to clinch there but Benth circles away.

Silva lands a head kick that stumbles Benth and the fighters go to the mat.
It looks like Smooth Benth has been cut.
Silva controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva wants to control from the top but Benth keeps moving.
Silva postures up in Benth's guard and throws a big left but Benth blocks it.
Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Benth is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Benth has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Benth's legs - danger averted.
Silva stands up from Benth's guard - Silva perhaps looking for a knockout.

Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Adri Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Silva lands a nice elbow.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Benth shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silva tries to clinch up.
Benth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Silva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Benth's half guard.
Benth wants to control but Silva is keeping busy.
Benth is looking to improve his position.
Silva scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Benth works his way to full guard. Good work.
Benth is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Benth is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Benth has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.
Silva must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Silva wants to control from the top but Benth keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Benth blocks a head kick by Silva.
Benth has his takedown stuffed
and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Benth is trying to control the position but Silva postures up.
Benth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silva content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Benth has locked up a guillotine! Benth's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Silva is holding on here and Benth must be using up a lot of energy. Silva has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Benth gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
