Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Chyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sail. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chyn shoots in and bounces Rua off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Chyn content to stall in guard here.
Rua is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rua can't keep his opponent in guard - Chyn advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Chyn stalling away here and it's allowed Rua to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Chyn is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Rua wants to sweep but Chyn has passed to side control!

I looks like Chyn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ryu Chyn just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Chyn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

and Rua counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Chyn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rua wants to control from the top but Chyn keeps moving.
Rua stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chyn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Chyn holds on and takes a little breather.

Rua is working to get back to half guard.

Chyn swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rua is now in Chyn's guard. A big mistake from Chyn there, giving up the dominant position!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Ryu Chyn will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rua. Chyn shrugs it off though.
Rua moves into range and connects with a jab.

Rua feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rua won't allow Chyn to sweep him here.
Chyn is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Rua is staying active underneath Chyn, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Chyn passes the guard and advances to mount!
Chyn avoids the attempt from Rua to control.
Chyn misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Chyn has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rua regains guard immediately.

Chyn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Rua is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Rua is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chyn defends well.
