Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kang comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter the Dragon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, James Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Denis Kang! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kang scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Wong tries to buck Kang off but Kang is having none of it. Wong gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Kang seems to be working for a kimura but Wong defends the submission attempt. Kang looks gassed! Kang is trying to control the action in half guard but Wong is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Wong trying to control but Kang postures up.
Wong is trying to stand up here but Kang is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wong is trying is best to control the position here. Kang wants to control but Wong is keeping him busy. Wong gets full guard. Wong is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Wong has his foot on Kang's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kang works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wong is looking for a triangle but Kang pushes his legs off easily.
Wong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kang is one step ahead there. Kang slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kang decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wong circles away quickly and effectively. Wong leaves Kang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wong lands a slapping body shot.
Wong with a hook. James Wong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wong throws a series of strikes that have Kang backpedaling.
It looks like Denis Kang has been cut. Wong throws an overhand right that drops Kang like a sack of potatoes! Wong dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Wong!
