Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takashi Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy The Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Takashi Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Randy The Ripper!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake shoots in looking for a takedown. The Ripper tries to sprawl out of it but Drake keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Ripper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The Ripper throws a left that rocks Drake and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! The Ripper dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Drake regain composure!


Drake is rocked!


It looks like Takashi Drake has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The Ripper trying to control the action but Drake is working from the bottom.
Drake is looking for a sweep.
Drake might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Drake tries to strike from the bottom but misses.

The Ripper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Drake is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The Ripper has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Drake!
The Ripper prevents Drake from getting the reversal.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The Ripper swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Drake is now in The Ripper's guard. A big mistake from The Ripper there, giving up the dominant position!
Drake trying to control the position from guard on top but The Ripper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The Ripper looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Drake landing some decent shots from guard.
Drake postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Drake won't allow The Ripper to sweep him here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The Ripper is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Drake avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The Ripper looks gassed!
Drake connects with a couple of short punches.
Drake could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Drake stands up from The Ripper's guard - Drake perhaps looking for a knockout.
Drake keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A head kick misses from Drake.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Ripper fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The Ripper connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
The Ripper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Drake circles away quickly and effectively.
Drake shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says The Ripper as he avoids it easily.
Drake tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but The Ripper swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takashi Drake. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Drake fails to land the takedown.
Drake tries to move into range but The Ripper moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The Ripper connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Drake momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A combination from The Ripper does no damage.
The Ripper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Drake moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Drake shoots for a takedown but The Ripper saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The Ripper misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fight stays on the outside here - Drake looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nice uppercut lands for The Ripper. That snapped Drake's head back.
Drake tries to clinch there but The Ripper circles away.
The Ripper tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Drake shoots in and drives through. The Ripper sprawls well.
Drake shoots in for a takedown but The Ripper shows good takedown defense.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The Ripper changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The Ripper throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The Ripper is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
The Ripper cracks a nice hook into Drake's ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randy The Ripper dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Takashi Drake's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Drake fails in his attempt to clinch.
Drake on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The Ripper pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The Ripper throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Drake crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Randy The Ripper!
