Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Willian Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orfeu Carone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carone misses with an uppercut.
Wallace looks for a takedown but Carone sprawls well.
Carone connects with a looping right hand.

Carone displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wallace.
Carone stuffs the takedown attempt from Wallace. Wallace gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wallace is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Carone is aware though and is defending well.
Wallace throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Carone escapes and throws Wallace's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Wallace throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Carone counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Carone lunges at Wallace with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wallace's hand.
Wallace keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wallace tries for a takedown but Carone circles away easily
letting Carone counter with a right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Carone cracks Wallace with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Carone lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Willian Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carone dodges the punch combination from Wallace.
Carone moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Wallace shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carone as he jumps to the side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wallace has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Carone finds it's way round the side to connect with Wallace's head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Wallace. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wallace shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Carone counters with a nice body shot.
Wallace takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Carone lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wallace at a distance.
Carone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wallace stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Carone takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Carone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wallace manages to avoid it.

Carone is staying active underneath Wallace, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Wallace is looking for a kimura but Carone is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wallace to get the leverage.
