Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Angel Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew McIlhone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McIlhone has chosen Set the World Afire as his entrance music. Matthew McIlhone told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Soto is defended easily by McIlhone.
McIlhone fails to land with a series of punches.
McIlhone throws a hook but Soto blocks it.
Soto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McIlhone is fending him off so far but Soto persists. Nope, McIlhone circles away and we're back to standing.
McIlhone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Soto sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
McIlhone tries a head kick but it misses.
Soto shoots in for a takedown but McIlhone shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
