Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bad Sam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julen Pandiani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bad Sam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julen Pandiani! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pandiani tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sam tests Pandiani's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sam throws a right and a left that Pandiani avoids nicely. Sam looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Pandiani is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sam trying to move into half guard but instead Pandiani has managed to sweep! Sam throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pandiani uses it to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sam wants to control but Pandiani postures up. Pandiani is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sam's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sam is trying to improve his position. Sam is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pandiani's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Sam is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pandiani not doing much here.
Pandiani tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Pandiani with the ground and pound but Sam uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pandiani gets to his feet. Sam looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Pandiani tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pandiani tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sam swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sam swats away the attempt to clinch by Pandiani. Pandiani tries to clinch but Sam is having none of it. Pandiani walks into a jab. Sam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pandiani displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sam throws out the jab. Sam closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sam lands in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sam trying to control the position from guard on top but Pandiani is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sam throws a big right hand that misses. Pandiani wants to hit a switch here but Sam passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Pandiani there! Pandiani is squirming around, avoiding Sam's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sam jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Pandiani is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Pandiani and Sam has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Sam landing a few strikes. Pandiani wants to control but Sam postures up. Pandiani is looking for a sweep. Pandiani is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bad Sam dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sam looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pandiani is fending him off so far but Sam persists. Nope, Pandiani circles away and we're back to standing. Pandiani throws a right hand that Sam ducks under and follows up with a left that Sam also avoids with ease. Pandiani moves in looking to clinch but Sam pushes him off. Pandiani shoots and misses and Sam counters with a takedown into side control. Pandiani has one of Sam's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Pandiani is looking to get back to his feet here but Sam is keeping cool and he's managed to take Pandiani's back. Pandiani is trying to get back to his feet but Sam has full control of the position and if anything, Pandiani has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sam misses with a punch to the head. Sam looking for the choke but no joy. Pandiani tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Pandiani tries to reverse the position but Sam maintains control. Pandiani tries to improve his position but Sam has taken his back! Sam has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Pandiani tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Sam pushes Pandiani away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bad Sam!
