PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Skaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jesus Walks - Kanye West. Skaar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ozzy Osbourne - I Don't Wanna Stop. Roy Skaar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shamrock lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

No joy there for Skaar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shamrock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Skaar swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Skaar pushes down on Shamrock's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Skaar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Shamrock with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
