Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Napier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Lee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Napier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luke Lee!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Napier is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Lee missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Napier doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Napier has one foot on Lee's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Napier looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jack Napier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Napier throws a chopping leg kick but Lee manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Jack Napier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Napier throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee.
Napier throws a right and a left that Lee avoids nicely.

It looks like Jack Napier has been cut.
Napier looks to land a combination. Lee sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Napier swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Napier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Lee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Napier tries to bench press Lee off him but Lee keeps the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Napier looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lee is just content to waste time from the top position. Napier takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lee connects with a nice short shot to Napier's temple.

Lee has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lee has Napier pressed against the cage, preventing Napier from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Napier wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
