Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Monsoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Monsoon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carl Carter!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter tries to bum rush Monsoon with a series of wild strikes but Monsoon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Monsoon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Monsoon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Carter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Monsoon scores with a couple of nice shots.
Monsoon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carter's head.
The fighters are battling for position here. Carter manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Monsoon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Carter is just riding it out for now. Monsoon eventually gives up the hold.
