Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burt Bedlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Big Joe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Burt Bedlan! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Joe looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The fighters circling - Bedlan throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A slow jab from Bedlan misses its intended target. A big right from Bedlan misses. Bedlan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Joe. Bedlan looks to throw the jab but Joe is out of range. Nice defenses there by Joe. Bedlan thows a left - swing and a miss! Bedlan throws the left hand but Joe avoids the punch easily. Joe is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Big Joe has been cut. Joe staying out of range there. The fighters circling - Bedlan throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Joe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bedlan. Joe ducks under a wild hook from Bedlan. Joe staying out of range there. Joe slips a jab from Bedlan. Joe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bedlan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Joe somewhat. Bedlan throws a jab when Joe was well out of range. That's one minute gone in the round. Bedlan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Joe. Bedlan throws a hook but Joe blocks it. Nice takedown defense from Bedlan. No joy for Joe on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Joe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bedlan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Joe slips a straight right by Bedlan. Joe throws a one two combo.
Joe plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Joe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Joe lands an elbow. Joe thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! You can see the frustration on Bedlan's face as Joe controls the position. Bedlan wants to get back to his feet but Joe drags him back down. Bedlan looks gassed! Joe lands an elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bedlan throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bedlan throws a looping overhand right but Joe ducks down to avoid it. Joe staying out of range there. Bedlan takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Burt Bedlan has been cut. Nice defenses there by Joe. Joe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bedlan but Bedlan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Joe clinches with his opponent.
Joe is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bedlan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Joe successfully pulls guard.
Joe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bedlan is aware though and is defending well. Joe throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bedlan wants to get up but he can't break Joe's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bedlan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bedlan misses with a straight left. Burt Bedlan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bedlan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Joe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bedlan. Bedlan is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Bedlan misses with a straight left. Joe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bedlan avoids it really well and circles away. Joe staying out of range there. Joe tries to clinch up. Bedlan throws a hook but Joe blocks it. Bedlan throws a hook but Joe blocks it. Joe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bedlan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Joe is controlling him. Bedlan is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Joe dives into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joe has hold of Bedlan's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bedlan seems comfortable defending it but Joe has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bedlan is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bedlan is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Joe couldn't care less - he's delighted!
