Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Mac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Stewart! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stewart as he avoids it easily. Mac tries to clinch there but Stewart circles away.
Mac shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stewart as he jumps to the side. Stewart gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Mac counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Mac trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mac missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stewart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mac can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stewart lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mac! Stewart looking to finish Mac with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mac! Stewart trying to control but he's not successful this time. Stewart blocks Mac's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Mac is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Mac regains half guard. Stewart is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Stewart wants to pass to mount but Mac is defending the position. Mac has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mac is looking to improve his position.
Mac regains full guard. Nicely done. Mac trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Mac preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stewart working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Mac looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stewart sitting in guard here, content to control. Stewart thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mac wants to sweep but no luck. Mac striking off his back but it's not causing Stewart any problems. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mac tries to clinch but Stewart moves out of range. Stewart with a jab. Mac misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Mac. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mac is breathing heavily. Mac gets the takedown into side control. Mac throws an elbow but Stewart slips to the side and avoids it well. Mac scoring with punches from side control. Stewart tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mac wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mac throws a strike aimed at the side of Stewart's head but Stewart avoids it well. Stewart takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Mac is chipping away with strikes.
Mac scores with a couple of short elbows. Mac working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Mac working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Stewart is trying to get back to half guard. Stewart manages to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stewart moves into full guard.
Stewart utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mac throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stewart works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mac trying to control the position from guard on top but Stewart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mac pushing down on Stewart's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Stewart pushes Mac off looking to stand but Mac dives back in and keeps control.
Mac seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stewart does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Mac dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mac looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Mac has gone for a leg lock! Stewart slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mac's guard. Stewart looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Stewart's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Mac has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stewart can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mac looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac keeping full guard, as Stewart tries to pass. Mac lands some strikes from the bottom. Mac tries to strike from the bottom.
Mac striking off his back but it's not causing Stewart any problems. Stewart connects with a couple of short punches. Mac might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mac is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Stewart staying out of range there. Stewart misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mac looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stewart is fending him off so far but Mac persists. Nope, Stewart circles away and we're back to standing. Stewart throws a head kick that half lands.

Stewart throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mac. Mac changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Mac misses with a takedown and Stewart counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Mac has managed to clinch.
Mac has Stewart pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stewart manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Mac. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mac goes for a takedown in the clinch but Stewart prevents it.
Stewart unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mac lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Stewart is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Stewart is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Mac tries for a takedown but Stewart manages to get underhooks.

Stewart lands a body shot. Mac tries to score a body lock takedown but Stewart shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Mac wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stewart prevents Mac from breaking the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Mac as Stewart tries to tie him up. A hook to the body from Stewart.

Stewart gets control of Mac's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stewart will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Mac pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stewart is keeping the position for now. Mac throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Brian Mac overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mac avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mac won't allow Stewart to sweep him here. Mac postures up and lands a big shot to Stewart's brow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stewart working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mac. Mac wants to control from the top but Stewart keeps moving. Stewart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mac drives through with a takedown into guard. Mac works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mac is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mac works his way into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Mac dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Mac stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mac wants it to stay on the feet. Mac shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stewart sprawls well. Stewart wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mac gets slowly back to his feet. Mac with a lazy takedown attempt and Stewart counters with a series of strikes. Mac will be more careful next time no doubt. Mac misses with a takedown attempt - Stewart sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Mac. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick from Stewart lands but Mac takes it in his stride. Mac takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Mac shoots in for a double leg but Stewart sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mac has a takedown stuffed. Stewart connects with a high kick. Mac changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stewart tries to avoid it but Mac manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stewart to the ground. Stewart escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Stewart instigates a clinch. Stewart gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mac.
Mac goes for a takedown attempt but Stewart pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stewart gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mac counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Stewart moves into full guard.
Mac trying to stand up but can't free himself from Stewart's guard. Mac throwing strikes but missing. Mac got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stewart has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mac has managed to get both his arms back between Stewart's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stewart looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mac is one step ahead there. Mac working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Mac working some strikes from top position. Stewart has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Mac has passed into side control.

Mac wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stewart, who protects the arm well. Stewart is working to avoid the ground and pound but Mac connects with a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mac gets to mount! Stewart was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Mac looking to finish Stewart with some ground and pound. This is bad for Stewart! Mac unloading with bombs! Stewart is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Mac with a couple of short strikes. Mac has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Stewart's face.
Stewart is in a horrible position here. Mac smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Stewart wants to try and get back to his feet. Bob Stewart has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mac working for a submission but Stewart is keeping him at bay. Mac dominating with strikes here. Mac working away from the top, dropping strikes. Mac lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Mac trying to control but he's not successful this time. Stewart takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Brian Mac showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mac, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
