Edwards keeps the fight on the outside.
No joy there for Downs, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Downs changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Edwards looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Downs has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Edwards is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Downs yanks on the arm and Edwards is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Downs.
