The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourne looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Randleman!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Randleman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bourne misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Randleman takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Bourne is going olschool here, as he tries to force Randleman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Randleman shrugs it off.
Randleman is bucking up trying to escape but Bourne cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Randleman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bourne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A punch lands to the side of Bourne 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Bourne takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Randleman tries to bum rush Bourne with a series of wild strikes but Bourne uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Randleman thuds his right hand into Bourne's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Denver Randleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bourne walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bourne takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Randleman throws a series of strikes that have Bourne backpedaling.
Bourne is rocked!
Bourne tries to get into range but Randleman steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Bourne! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Randleman scores the big KO victory!
