PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between los de (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanner Provinzano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). de comes to the cage accompanied by poisen. Provinzano has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The key to victory for los de has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tanner Provinzano!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de cracks Provinzano with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.


It looks like Tanner Provinzano has been cut.
Provinzano looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Provinzano tries for a takedown but de sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Provinzano looks gassed!
de throws a head kick but Provinzano moves out of range.

Provinzano got a little sloppy there for a moment and de has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Provinzano has managed to get both his arms back between de's legs - danger averted.

de tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Provinzano smiles and moves away.

de is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
de jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Provinzano walks away with a smile on his face. de gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

de closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

de sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

You can see the frustration on de's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

de sneaks out the side door and pushes Provinzano away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Tanner Provinzano is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
de fails to land with a series of punches.

Tanner Provinzano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
