Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Crash Holly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Rafael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holly kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Slow Death. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rafael uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Rafael throws a big shot that misses.
Holly moves out of range of the body kick.
Holly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rafael looks to throw the jab but Holly is out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rafael.
No joy there for Rafael, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rafael shoots in for a double leg but Holly sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Holly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rafael was well out of range. Poor timing from Holly.
Rafael uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Holly.
Holly defending well as Rafael loads up on a big left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holly dodges the punch combination from Rafael.
Rafael tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Carlos Rafael seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rafael shoots for a double leg takedown but Holly sprawls well. He's pushed Rafael's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Crash Holly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Rafael.
Holly throws a big shot that misses.

Holly missing with a left hand there. Rafael was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Holly scores with a jab to the body.
Rafael uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Holly.
Holly wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rafael closes this distance looking for a takedown but Holly circles away.
Rafael looks gassed!
Holly lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Holly.
It looks like Carlos Rafael has been cut.
Holly scores with a shot to the body.
Rafael is looking to clinch but Holly is avoiding it.
Holly scores with a one two! Rafael had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rafael shoots in looking for a takedown. Holly tries to sprawl out of it but Rafael keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Holly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rafael takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Holly swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rafael.
Holly feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rafael sprawling to the canvas! Rafael rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Holly finish him?!
Rafael is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rafael fails to land the takedown.
Rafael is still on wobbly legs! Can Holly finish him?
Holly throws a pinpoint strike between Rafael's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Rafael crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Holly scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Crash Holly!
