The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard.
Jones stops Moultrie from standing up.
Jones postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Moultrie is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jones, into his guard.
Moultrie wants to stand but Jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Moultrie has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jones is looking for a triangle but Moultrie pushes his legs off easily.

Moultrie has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jones is proving hard to escape from.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jones is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Moultrie frees his head nicely. Oh but Jones has switched to an armbar! Moultrie is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
