Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vincenzo Calliente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hurai Land (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Land comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Por Ti Volare kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Hurai Land has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vincenzo Calliente!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hurai Land!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calliente circles away from the clinch attempt.
Land darts in and clinches Calliente up against the cage.
Calliente's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Calliente swats away the attempt to clinch by Land.
Calliente sizes up Land with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Land is looking to clinch.
Land tries to clinch up but Calliente circles away and keeps his distance.
Calliente throws a head kick that Land semi-blocks.
A nice inside leg kick there by Land. That's going to slow Calliente down.
Calliente shoots for a double leg takedown but Land sprawls well. He's pushed Calliente's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Land closes the distance and pushes Calliente back into the cage.

Calliente changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Land fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Land is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Land is looking to control Calliente's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Land avoid being mounted?

Calliente seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Land does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Land had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Calliente is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Land Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Calliente's back instead.

That was a close round but I would say that Vincenzo Calliente will probably get the nod.

Calliente feints and as Land raises his hands in defense, Calliente changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Calliente stands up over Land, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Land is on top in guard.
Land is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Land has gone for a leg lock! Calliente slips out almost immediately though and dives into Land's guard.

Calliente stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Land swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hurai Land comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Calliente has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
