Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Dash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cleveland Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Dash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cleveland Brown! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Brown.
Brown plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Brown throws a right and a left that Dash avoids nicely. Dash shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dash looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but Dash persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing. A slow jab from Brown misses its intended target. A slapping leg kick lands for Brown.
Brown lands a jab. Dash shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dash gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Dash. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dash shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Dash's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Good exchange - Brown coming out on top. Dash shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brown pinned against the cage. Brown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dash tries for a takedown but Brown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dash shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dash gets slowly back to his feet. Brown doesn't manage to clinch there - Dash circles away.
Dash shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brown manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dash drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brown manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dash has Brown in his guard. Brown looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dash looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dash throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Dash looking for a guillotine here but Brown defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dash looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Brown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Brown avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Brown is pushing down on Dash's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dash is fighting to maintain full guard but Brown has managed to sneak the leg through. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cleveland Brown dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Brown tries to clinch up but Dash circles away and keeps his distance. Brown cracks Dash with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. No luck for Dash with that takedown attempt. Brown drops Dash with a beautiful combination! Dash stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Brown is looking for the KO!
It looks like Jim Dash has been cut. Dash slips a jab from Brown. Dash walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Dash on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Dash is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dash looks up at the clock. Bad move! Brown lands a right hand from hell, dropping Dash. Brown pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cleveland Brown!
