Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Strider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black's entrance music is Jedward - Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby). A fine choice. Strider has chosen Neurosonic - Until I die as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Strider!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Strider is pressed up against the cage. Black has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Strider down to the mat. Strider avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Strider dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Black. That did some damage!
Strider throws a head kick that misses.
Strider thumps Black with a low kick.
Black gets a takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Black seems content to control.
Strider is staying active underneath Black, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Black performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Strider wants to get back to his feet.
Black wants to lay and pray for a moment but Strider keeps working.
Black is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Strider has managed to free his arm - good work.

Black is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Strider is looking to escape.
Black is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Strider pushes Black off looking to stand but Black dives back in and keeps control.
Black controlling the action here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Arthur Black just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Strider moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Strider delivers a nice body kick.
Strider tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Strider tries to clinch up
and Black counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Black.
Strider unloads a knee to the mid-section. Black lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Black is working for takedown but Strider is calmly controlling the position for now.

Strider creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Black's defenses.
Black drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Strider gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Black. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Strider tries to break the clinch but Black is controlling the position.
Strider utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Black is breathing heavily.
Strider landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Strider gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Strider escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A jab lands there for Strider.
Strider throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Strider tries a head kick but it misses.
A good leg kick by Strider.
Strider moves out of range of the body kick.
Strider misses with a body kick.
Some wild striking there from Strider.
Strider swinging wilding here.

Black avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A punch combination from Strider misses.
Strider closes the distance looking to clinch
and Black counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Strider!
Strider has left one of his arms exposed and Black doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Strider screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
