The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams fails to land the takedown.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Adams turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Adams manages to end up in side control.
You can see the frustration on Drago's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Drago tries to buck Adams off but Adams is having none of it.

Adams is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Drago knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Adams tries to move into full mount but can't pass Drago's legs.
Drago parries the strikes from Adams easily there. Adams is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Drago to escape.
Drago regains half guard.

Drago manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Adams fails to land the takedown.

Drago drives through and clinches with Adams against the cage.

Adams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Drago has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Adams has managed to get both his arms back between Drago's legs - danger averted.

Drago has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Adams doesn't defend quickly enough and Drago has managed to lock this one up! Can Adams escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Drago on a fantastic submission victory.
