Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddy Frito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Grimm!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frito swings for the body but Grimm moves out of range.
Grimm dives in and grabs Frito's left leg, looking for a takedown. Frito pushes down on Grimm's head and hops out.
Frito scores with a leg kick.
Grimm will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Horrible takedown by Grimm or perhaps it was just good defense by Frito which made him look bad.
Freddy Frito has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Grimm.
Frito takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Grimm is trying hard to land a takedown here. Frito sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Grimm shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frito as he jumps to the side.
Frito jabs Grimm right on the nose. Grimm blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Jacob Grimm has been cut.
Frito rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grimm moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Frito.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grimm.
Grimm looks gassed!
Good leg kick by Frito there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Frito drops Grimm with a beautiful combination! Grimm stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Frito is looking for the KO!
Grimm is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Frito feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Grimm crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Freddy Frito!
