Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alfonzo Orrego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakie Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orrego kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tema dos Guerreiros - Pregador Luo. Jakie Chan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jakie Chan!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan moves away from the strike by Orrego.
Alfonzo Orrego seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Orrego throws out the jab.
Orrego misses with a looping right.
Chan cracks the inside of Orrego's front leg.
Orrego misses with an uppercut. Chan saw that one coming.
Orrego throws a lazy right hand but Chan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Chan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Orrego, pushing him back against the cage.
Orrego wants to break the clinch but can't.
Chan tries to pull guard but Orrego won't allow it.
Orrego is trying to break the clinch but Chan has him pressed against the cage.

Chan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Orrego is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chan.
Orrego throws an overhand right that lands on Chan's shoulder, as Chan tries to avoid the shot.

Chan gets a takedown into half guard.

Chan decides to stand up.
Chan moves out of range of the strikes.
Chan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Orrego.
Chan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Orrego. That did some damage!
Orrego throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Chan throws a head kick but Orrego moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Chan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Orrego bucks up and tries to throw Chan off but instead Chan has got his back!
Orrego wants to get back to his feet.
Orrego is breathing heavily.
Chan controls the position.

Chan is looking for the choke from the back position but Orrego is controlling his hands well.
Chan is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Orrego is trying to get back to his feet but Chan has full control of the position and if anything, Orrego has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Chan gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Chan controlling the position well here. Orrego rolled but Chan kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Chan lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Chan.
Orrego controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Chan scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Orrego is looking for a way out.

Orrego covers up after that shot from Chan.

I would not like to be Orrego right now.

Orrego won't enjoy being in this position. Chan looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Orrego is tapping - it's over boys! Chan picks up the submission victory!
