The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood misses with a low kick.
Moore tries for a takedown but Wood sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wood defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Moore.

Moore shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wood's guard.
Wood is looking to stand back up but Moore counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Wood.

Moore is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wood is looking to escape.

Wood has one foot on Moore's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Wood tries a head kick but it misses.
Wood displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Moore.

Wood misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Moore closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Moore lands in his opponent's guard.
