Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pete Blamm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pete Blamm looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pete Blamm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jermaine Williams!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails with a takedown attempt.
Blamm looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Blamm.
Williams struggling a bit here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams is looking for a sweep.
Williams wants to control but Blamm postures up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Williams looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Williams keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Williams wants to take a breather but Blamm is having none of it.
Williams trying to control the pace.

Blamm is defending against the submission attempts here by Williams.
Williams has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Williams looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Williams trying to control but Blamm is having none of it.
Williams controlling from mount.
Let's hope that Williams has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Williams is working for a guillotine from mount but Blamm frees his head quite easily.

Williams looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Williams trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Williams controlling the pace for now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jermaine Williams just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Blamm is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.
Blamm displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Williams.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Williams doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Blamm counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Blamm.
Pete Blamm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jermaine Williams.
Williams manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Blamm is in all sorts of trouble here.
Blamm wants to hold on but Williams pushes him away.
Williams looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pete Blamm will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Williams gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams wants to control but Blamm is keeping him busy.

Williams wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Blamm, who protects the arm well.

Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Williams moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Williams is trying to get an arm triangle but Blamm is defending well.
Blamm is looking for a sweep.

Williams in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Blamm is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jermaine Williams!
