Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glen Quagmire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quagmire showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jones.
Quagmire tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.

It looks like Glen Quagmire has been cut.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Quagmire uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Jones makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Quagmire tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Quagmire drops back down to his feet.
Quagmire keeps control of Jones as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Quagmire is trying to drag Jones to the mat but Jones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jones digs a right hand underneath Quagmire's ribcage. Quagmire let out a lung full of air as it connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jones stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Quagmire doesn't seem bothered though.
