Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shujinko Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Farid Ruslanitov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chung comes to the cage accompanied by Mortal Mombat theme. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shujinko Chung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Farid Ruslanitov! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Ruslanitov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ruslanitov fails in his attempt to clinch. Chung circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ruslanitov stuffs the takedown attempt from Chung. Chung gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ruslanitov ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chung looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ruslanitov is fending him off so far but Chung persists. Nope, Ruslanitov circles away and we're back to standing. Ruslanitov is looking to clinch but Chung is avoiding it.

Chung dives in and grabs Ruslanitov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ruslanitov pushes down on Chung's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shujinko Chung. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ruslanitov tries to clinch up but Chung circles away and keeps his distance. Chung shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ruslanitov as he jumps to the side.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ruslanitov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Chung keeps the fight on the outside.

Chung swats away the attempt to clinch by Ruslanitov. Chung shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ruslanitov defends it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Chung throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ruslanitov's waist but Ruslanitov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chung off to one side. Farid Ruslanitov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Ruslanitov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Farid Ruslanitov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ruslanitov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
